Here are a few more images from the trip to Nicaragua that were not included in the day-by-day correspondences but are worth presenting.

The clock tower above La Catedral de Santiago in the old town center of Managua, Nicaragua.  The cathedral was significantly damaged by the earthquake of 1972 that mostly leveled managua.  Supposedly, the clock that adorns this tower shows the exact time of the earthquake.  Also visible are pock marks from bullets that flew during the  Contra/Civil Wars.
