We had a slow start to the day yesterday following a hearty breakfast. When we finally got moving it was to load up two boats for a day of fishing – including the necessary goods for a shore lunch.
We fished on Margot lake for a couple of hours. By then, both boats had ample supply of walleye for lunch. We headed to a big, rocky point, docked the boats and began the preparations for lunch. Bill and I filleted the fish while Dick and Pat got a fire going then sliced up the potatoes and onions. Once the fire was ready, Bill took over the cook duties – a master at shore lunches.
A great shore lunch is hard to beat!
